We need to support our Exhibitors after all they give delegates the opportunity to network and preview new products, compare like products and above they provide support and sponsorship to provide us a successful LIANZA Conference with great speaker etc.
The Exhibition space at the LIANZA Conference can be regarded as a place to pick up free "swag", lollies or chocolates, to find the answers to a competition, or to eat and drink. The exhibitors themselves then become people who bombard us with email or worse still, someone who has no relevance whatsoever to our jobs.
We need to remember though that the exhibitors are critical to the success of the LIANZA Conference through their presence, support and in many cases their sponsorship of speakers, sessions, social events and Conference products. Without them, there would be no Conference.
The Exhibition area gives delegates the opportunity to preview new products and improvements to existing ones, to comparison shop for competing products without obligation, to see if a vendor is on the right track and if the Library is well-served by that vendor. And of course, a place to give feedback.
